General Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Tatty Angel Designs (“Tatty Angel Designs”, “It’s”, “We”, “Our”, “Us”, “The Seller”).
Please note that we are an internet based business and we do not currently work from any type of premises that allows visitors.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “You”, “Your”, “The Buyer” means you in your capacity as user and/or purchaser. By using this site and/or making a payment to Tatty Angel Designs you are confirming your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept these, please do not use the site or any of Tatty Angel Designs services.
Please be aware that these Terms and Conditions cover purchases made in person via any Wedding Fair or Craft Fair as well as purchases made via this site.
These Terms and Conditions and your relationship with us are governed by English Law. Both you and Tatty Angel Designs submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England. Only those that can lawfully enter into and form contracts under English Law are permitted to purchase items from Tatty Angel Designs.
As this site is owned and operated by us, we reserve the right to remove or edit content, refuse access to the website, or cancel orders at our discretion.

Tatty Angel Designs takes your privacy very seriously and under no circumstances will your personal information be made available to any third party. Any personal information you provide to us is used solely for the purposes of processing your order.
We ask that all details you pass on to us are correct and complete. Please notify us immediately to any changes made to the information. This can be done via our contact us form, email, or by telephone.
Please be aware that we do not store any credit card information on our servers.
All copyright and other intellectual property rights in all the material on the site or contained in any form of communication from Tatty Angel Designs (including but not limited to the design and structure of this site, for example, page layouts, graphical images and underlying software code, collectively the “Content”) belongs to Tatty Angel Designs or its licensors. All rights are reserved, except for the limited rights expressly granted below.
Subject to other third party restrictions such as those described above, you may access, print and download the Content onto electronic, magnetic, optical or similar storage media provided that:
1. such activities are not used for any commercial purpose other than private research, study or your own personal use; and
2. none of the text or associated images or graphics are separated from each other or modified in any way.
You may not otherwise copy, collect, distribute or transmit any of the Content and you may never sell or publish any of the Content, without prior written permission from Tatty Angel Designs. 3. Prices and Payment Information
Our prices are set in £GBP and you will be billed in £GBP. All of our prices are inclusive of VAT (Currently set at 20%). Postage and Packaging incur an additional cost. See section 4. Postage and Packaging for more details.
Full Payment must be received by us before we can accept your order. By accepting your offer we create a legally binding contract between you and us. Persons under the age of 18 years are prohibited from ordering items using this website. By placing an order you are certifying that you are aged 18 years or over.
*Prices are subject to change. You will be charged the price as stated at the time of your order.
We accept payment via Paypal, Bank Transfer (BACS) and Cheque. Payment by BACS or Cheque must be received within 7 days of the submitted order request or the request will be cancelled.
Tatty Angel Designs will not accept any orders until full payment has been cleared.
With regards to Bespoke orders, no specialised components will be ordered or production begun before full payment is completed.
4. Postage and Packaging
For items valued at £40 and under – postage and packaging starts at £2.50 (For UK locations).
These items will be sent via Royal Mail – First Class Recorded Signed For (requires a signature).
For items valued at £41 upwards – postage and packaging starts at £6.50 (For UK locations).
These items will be sent via Royal Mail – First Class Special Delivery (requires a signature).
This service offers compensation options.

** If you are purchasing more than one item, please email Tatty Angel Designs for a combined postage amount before submitting payment.
5. Delivery Information
All details provided by you will be correct and complete. Please inform us immediately if there are changes made to the information you provided when requesting an order. You can update us with any changes using our contact us form, email or telephone.
Items stocked in our online shop – Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery.
Bespoke orders – Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.
If you require a shorter delivery time, please contact us and we will be more than happy to advise you on current lead times. We will try to accommodate where possible.
* Delivery times quoted here are estimates and should not be relied upon as guaranteed delivery times.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have provided us with the correct and complete delivery address. It is also your responsibility to ensure that someone will be available to sign for and take delivery of the items.
If the postal service return a package to us due to non-delivery for whatever reason, you will be responsible for any additional costs incurred for re-delivery.
6. Returns and Refunds
Return of Goods
Within a seven days period, after delivery, you shall inspect your items received and alert Tatty Angel Designs, in writing firstname.lastname@example.org of any defects or discrepancies found. If you wish to return the item/s you will do so within seven days of receipt. Goods must be returned in the condition received, including the original packaging. Tatty Angel Designs will not accept liability for any damages, loss/shortage in transit. Therefore, we advised you use the most appropriate postal service to insure a safe return of goods to us.
In compliance with health and safety regulations, we cannot accept return of earrings once dispatched or taken from point of sale. If they are contained in a set, then the set cannot be returned.
If you decide to cancel an order please email us at email@example.com. If we have already dispatched your item/s then you will need to return the items to Tatty Angel Designs within 7 days of receipt of goods in the condition received. You are responsible for the costs incurred to return the order to us. You must follow the procedure detailed in the Return of Goods section above.
We shall refund your order within 7 working days of receiving your cancellation, or within 7 working days of receipt of returned goods at Tatty Angel Designs (less postage and packaging costs) in cases where the order has already been dispatched.
Cancellation by Us
We will not accept and reserve the right to cancel any order between you and us if: any of the items you ordered were listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error, we have insufficient stock to fulfil your order, we do not deliver to your location.
In the unfortunate event of us cancelling your order, you will be notified by email and we will re-credit your account with the amount deducted by us as soon as possible.
With regards to items purchased directly from our online shop, Tatty Angel Designs are compliant with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) Act 2000. Therefore we operate within a seven days no quibble guarantee (minus postage) policy.
* Please note that this does not apply to any items that we have personalised to your specification. (pursuant to Regulation 13(c) of the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations) Act 2000.
We will not issue refunds for goods we believe have been worn or altered in any way, or for goods returned ater the date of your wedding/prom.
* We have the right to refuse any items if we feel our returns policy is being abused.
Any items that have been made to your specifications may be returned in their original condition and packaging within seven days after receipt. Any refund offered will be less 50% for labour costs and costs of materials. Postage and packaging costs will also be deducted. You will be responsible for the costs incurred returning the items to us. Tatty Angel Designs will not accept liability for any damages, loss/shortage in transit. Therefore, we advised you use the most appropriate postal service to insure a safe return of goods to us.

We understand that on rare occasions things can go wrong. If you wish to make a complaint we do endeavour to respond and work with you to solve the problem within 24 hours

Descriptions of each item will indicate the materials used in each piece. Most if our items (particularly tiaras) are made with silver plated and gold plated wire. Sterling silver wire can be used at an additional cost. Our fasteners and other findings are silver plated and gold plated. Sterling silver and Carat gold can be used at an additional cost.
* All earrings are made with sterling silver hooks or studs.
The crystals and crystal pearls that we use are Swarovski, unless otherwise stated.
Our products are unsuitable for young children as they contain small parts such as beads and pearls that are potential choking hazards.
*We accept no responsibility for any injuries or incidences that may occur as a result of the mis-use of our products.
11. Taking care of your jewellery
Toiletries such as perfume, hairspray and body lotion contain chemicals that can cause damage to the pearls, metals and other components that we use. We would therefore advise that if you use these products, you should apply them first and allow plenty of time for them to dry before putting on your jewellery.
To help prolong the life of elasticated bracelets, we would advise rolling the bracelets onto your hand. Constant pulling and stretching of the bracelets may weaken the elastic and cause it to snap.
The wire we use is strong yet flexible. However, constant manipulation of it can cause it to weaken and snap. We recommend that you do not over handle your items (particularly tiaras) before your big day.

We are aware that many people experience a reaction to Nickel. This can be caused by an allergy or due to high acidity levels in your skin. Tatty Angel Designs are very careful when purchasing components to be used in our jewellery items. We do not knowingly purchase items containing high levels of Nickel.
